The Foundation works across the UK and internationally – carrying out research, influencing policy, creating new organisations and supporting others to do the same, often with imaginative uses of new technology. 

The Foundation has published extensively on social innovation, and presented at academic and other conferences on the topic in over 50 countries. The Young Foundation founded and coordinates the Social Innovation eXchange (SIX) – the world’s primary network bringing together individuals and organisations involved in the field of social innovation.
